This heat-seal PE salad box is a chilled food to go box. The high quality, white paperboard is fully recyclable. It has a kraft effect print for a natural and authentic look. 

The filling volume is up to 825 ml or 29 UK fl. oz. of food. This salad box is particularly suitable for wet or sauce laden salads.  This is not only because it is heat sealable – giving a secure, leak proof product, but also because it has a PE coating inside which prevents absorption from dressings and sauces. 

With an integrated clear window on the upper face, the food contained inside this heat seal PE salad box can be viewed easily and is presented in a tasteful and attractive way.

A sealing machine is necessary for secure and optimum sealing of this salad box. Once heat sealed this salad box has a longer shelf life. Research has shown that extending product life by just one day could save 250,000 tonnes of food waste in the UK annually.

This salad packaging is suitable for the food retail trade, ready-to-eat section in supermarkets, convenience stores and take-away shops.  It is also great for cafeterias, markets, catering and event catering.
