Plastic Lid for 12oz and 16oz Soup Containers. Plastic soup container lids are made from white polypropylene. This material has a high temperature tolerance, therefore the lids are suitable for use with hot foods. Lids fit the corresponding round paper food containers securely, hence protecting food and aiding safe transportation. Plastic lids are not compostable, but can be recycled.
