Comax UK Partners with Ringwood Community Fridge!
Comax UK, a leading provider of cleaning and hygiene solutions, is pleased to announce its partnership with Ringwood Community Fridge to support their mission of reducing food waste and aiding the local community. Through this collaboration, Comax UK will be donating a range of essential cleaning supplies to help maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the community fridge.
The Ringwood Community Fridge, a non-profit initiative is run by Ringwood Actions for Climate Emergency (RACE). It has been a vital resource for the local community, providing surplus food all whilst also promoting sustainability by reducing food waste. As the demand for its services continues to grow, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment becomes increasingly important to ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors.
Comax recognises the importance of supporting community initiatives like Ringwood Community Fridge, especially during these challenging times. By providing a variety of cleaning supplies including, sanitisers, compostable bags, gloves, food packaging and paper hygiene products, Comax aims to assist the dedicated volunteers in their efforts to save food from waste.

“Whilst we have an amazing group of volunteers who give up so much of their time for free, running the Ringwood Community Fridge costs us over £750 a year. This support from COMAX UK will reduce that by a third and help to secure the long-term future of the fridge.” said Rosemary White, one of the RACE Trustees. “We feel truly blessed to be part of the amazing Ringwood Community and are extremely grateful to Comax for their donations”.
